Below are the details of the currently available Limbach Engines. The L1700 & L2000 series are available as both short and long blocks.

“L 2400 EB” – 64 kW (87hp) air cooled 4 cylinder, horizontally opposed engine with single magneto ignition and wet sump pressure lubrication.

L2400 EB Motor

Performance 64 kW (87hp) at 3200 rpm (max), 62 kW (84.5hp) at 3000 rpm (continuous), Displacement 2424 cm3 (147.91 cub. in.), Dry weight approx. 82 kg, Fuel 98 RON (unleaded) or AVGAS 100LL, Fuel consumption 14 ltrs/hr approx.

“L 2400 DFi/EFi” – 74 kW (100hp) liquid cooled 4-cylinder horizontally opposed engine with liquid cooled cylinder heads, electronic fuel injection and dual ignition system (DF only), automatic altitude compensation, wet sump pressure lubrication.

L2400 DFi/EFi Motor

Performance 74 kW (100hp) / 3000 rpm. Displacement 2424 cm3 (147.91 cub. in.). Dry weight approx. 76 kg plus accessories. Fuel min. 98 RON (unleaded) / AVGAS 100 LL. Optional Equipment DFi = dual ignition system.

“L 2400DT/ET” – 96 kW (130hp) turbocharged 4 cylinder horizontally opposed engine with liquid cooled cylinder heads, electronic fuel injection and dual (DT only) ignition system, automatic altitude compensation, wet sump pressure lubrication.

Performance 96 kW (130hp) / 3000 rpm, Displacement 2424 cm3 (147.91 cub. in.), Dry weight approx. 86 kg, Fuel 98 RON (unleaded) / AVGAS 100LL, Fuel consumption 255g/kWh (WOT); 240 g/kWh (part throttle).

“L 2400 DT.X – turbocharged” – 118 kW (160HP) Four cylinder, horizontally opposed engine with liquid cooled cylinderheads, electronic fuel injection and dual ignition system, automatic altitude compensation, wet sump pressure lubrication.

Maximum Power 118 kW(160HP) / 3000 min-1. Displacement 2424 cm3. Dry Weight 86 kg. Fuel min. octane 98 RON (Unleaded) / AVGAS 100 LL. Consumption: 255 g/kWh at WOT, 240 g/kWh at part throttle.

“L 2000 EB” – 59 (80hp) kW 4 cylinder horizontally opposed engine, air cooled with single magneto ignition & wet sump pressure lubrication.

L2000 Motor

Performance 59 kW (80hp) / 3400 rpm (max); 51 kW (70hp) / 3000 rpm (continuous). Displacement 1994 cm3 (121.68 cub. in.), Dry weight approx. 76,5 kg. Fuel min 98 RON (unleaded) or AVGAS 100LL. Fuel consumption 12 ltrs/hr approx.

“L 1700 EA” – 44 kW (60hp), 4 cylinder horizontally opposed engine, air cooled with single magneto ignition & wet sump pressure lubrication.
